About This Whisky
The 2009 edition of Yamazaki Sherry Cask was the first of a phenomenal expression for the Japanese distiller. The 2013 bottling was awarded World Whisky of the Year in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2015 and this was the original! Colour: Dark brown, a rich and decadent natural "Sherry" colour.Nose: Raisin, sun-dried tomato, clove, cocoa.Taste: Deep, rich, sweet and sour, chocolate with hazelnuts.Finish: Long, bittersweet, sour. Last one in stock - slight scuffing to the box lid.
