Very nutty, peanuts and walnuts mostly, and a touch of orange.

Palate


Orange is more present on the palate, tea is there too and a generous lashing of white chocolate.

Finish

Coffee is medium strong, we can taste some chicory too in the background. It is a medium last on the tongue.

To produce this gorgeous blend that is the Dalmore King Alexander III, Richard Paterson (a master distiller) selected his own range of malts with different ages in a combination of French wine casks, Sherry butts, Madeira drums, Marsala barrels, Bourbon barrels and Port pipes. A striking feat of blending and delicious!
