About This Whisky

A double cask matured Glendronach that is European oak matured and then finished in casks that would have previously held Sauternes which is a premium sweet pudding wine from Bordeaux made from late harvest Semillon grapes.

Nose: Creme anglais, dried apricots, ripe melon, quince jelly, mixed peel, waxy citrus, spun sugar, victoria sponge cake, lemon curd, mandarin jelly.

Palate: Fat and buttery mouthfeel giving way to a fruit salad of flavours with toffee, marmalade, lemon curd and oily orange vying for attention.

Finish: Juicy and fruity with ripe melon, apricot, peach, waxy orange and floral spice.

Lip smacking summery fruit of a malt with well balanced floral spice and oak influence.
