About This Whisky
Grant's 25 Year Old Rare and Distinctive is a unique blend, containing twenty-five of the world's most highly-prized and distinctive malt and grain whiskies, each aged for at least 25 years. This includes the first whisky ever laid down at Grant's Girvan distillery along with rare whiskies from distilleries no longer in existence (and which therefore cannot be replaced). The result is an exquisite final blend that captures the very essence of Grant's dedication to craftsmanship.
Nose: Thick notes of cigar leaf and nectarines in syrup. Manuka honey, allspice and currants. A touch of cassia bark, nutmeg and cedar.
Palate: Very rich palate with honey, thick sultanas and spice. Beautifully sherried with cocoa and cinnamon. Very complex.
Finish: Hints of very soft smoke on the finish, with dark chocolate and juicy Oloroso.
