About This Whisky

THIRON 2024, the first of an annual series of limited-edition whiskies. This exceptional release, inspired by the Tironensian monks who founded Lindores Abbey in 1191, is a blend of history and craftsmanship.

Maturing in casks handcrafted from Thiron Oak and seasoned STR and Bourbon casks, the whisky offers complex flavors of vanilla, butterscotch, and fruity plum jam, with subtle notes of cinnamon, ginger, and roasted chestnuts. Each sip embodies the legacy of the monks, with the wood for the casks sustainably replaced by new oaks planted at Thiron Gardais.
